Music Teacher

Full time, permanent.

We have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and engaging educator to become our new Music Teacher and further develop the strong music program at our school.  The successful applicant should be comfortable teaching all curriculum levels and will work with our Itinerant Music programme.

Year 7/8 Teacher

We are looking for an energetic, capable classroom teacher to join our middle school team.  The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent communication skills who has a passion for teaching these year levels/age group.

The school is focusing on developing student agency in our middle school, any strengths or experience in this area would be an advantage, as would experience with DMIC and local curriculum.  We follow PB4L philosophies and use restorative practices at our school.

The teaching load is currently in years 7-8.

Social Sciences Teacher

Full time, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join our team at Onewhero Area School. We are a rural school just 30 minutes’ drive from Pukekohe. We require an enthusiastic, innovative teacher to join the Social Sciences department to teach a mixture of NCEA and junior (year 9 to 10) classes. NCEA subjects could include Geography, History or Business Studies. English as a second subject would be an advantage. If you have a passion for student led learning, integration, and connecting to local curriculum we would like to hear from you.
