Head Student - Roles and Responsibilities
- To take an active role in school assemblies and prize-givings
- To be a positive role model to the student body
- To consistently wear the school blazer and leadership badge
- To wear the uniform correctly and with pride
- To lead/chair the Student Council and attend all meetings
- To represent our school at Leadership forums and meetings
- To attend leadership courses and functions upon request
- To liaise with the local community; including parents, businesses, kaumatua, local marae
- To represent and promote the school in and outside school hours in a positive light
- Attendance, assistance and participation in school events
- To be visible around the school
- Actively seek the opinions of the entire student body
- Meet with the Leadership co-ordinator on a regular basis
- Support school teams/groups at events
- Help encourage and co-ordinate events such as fundraising initiatives
- To perform allocated duties upon request
- To be an approachable, amiable student
- To set own academic/sporting/cultural goals and work hard to achieve these
- To maintain standards and responsibilities expected of all students
House Captain - Roles and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the promotion and advertising of House events
- To put out daily notices when needed on House events
- To liaise and work with key teachers in the school to plan these events
- To plan and run House meetings in an orderly, constructive manner
- To help co-ordinate, plan, organise House events
- To liaise closely with Tutor Teachers when organising events
- To help organise, plan and co-ordinate the school House competition across a year
- To announce any house notices at weekly assemblies
- To work with the Sports Coordinator when organising House sporting events
- To represent and promote the school in and outside school hours in a positive light
- Attendance, assistance and participation in school house events
- To be visible around the school
- Attend meetings and report back to the Student Council on a regular basis
- Regularly meet with the Leadership co-ordinator on a regular basis
- Support school teams/groups at house events
- To help organise lunchtime house activities for the student body

Cultural Captain - Roles and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the promotion and advertising of cultural events
- To put out daily notices when needed on cultural events
- To liaise and work with key teachers in the school who are responsible for cultural events
- To help co-ordinate, plan, organise cultural events in and outside of the school
- To organise events such as, Arts Week or Cultural Week
- To help organise and co-ordinate the use of cultural groups/performances at assemblies and school prizegivings
- To announce any cultural notices at weekly assemblies
- To work with the House Leaders when organising House cultural events
- To represent and promote the school in and outside school hours in a positive light
